iMage PUBLISHING is the service that iMage offers for realizing editorial products in the field of architecture. We collaborate with architects, designers, public and private administrations, cultural institutions for the production of books, catalogues, magazines, videos, web publications.
Its direct understanding of current cultural processes, its proximity with authors, publishing houses, distributors make iMage PUBLISHING the ideal partner for developing editorial projects which are aimed at promoting a relevant position within the specialized publishing system. Each product made by iMage or realized with our collaboration can be integrated with the communication services offered by iMage MEDIA AGENCY and with the expertise of iMage EXHIBITIONS.
We have grown a long experience by managing and curating the editorial contents of ARCH'IT www.architettura.it, the popular webzine produced by DADA dada.dada.net, founded in 1995 and directed by Marco Brizzi. From here we developed a unique insight into digital publishing.
iMage PUBLISHING also developed a significant experience in the field of paper publications. The catalogues of the BEYOND MEDIA festival www.beyondmedia.it curated by Marco Brizzi; those of the exhibitions which iMage itself produces, such as S(E)OUL SCAPE. Towards a New Urbanity in Korea curated by Francisco Sanin (episode publishers) or SNAKE SPACE. NIO architecten (Mandragora); those produced by institutions, such as the volume HOLLAND-ITALY. 10 Works of Architecture curated by Gabriele Mastrigli (Electa), relative to the exhibition promoted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Rome and by DARC, and presented at the MAXXI Museum in Rome.
iMage PUBLISHING is also specialized in the realization of videos which are effective in describing and expressing design-related contents: it is a centre of excellence for spotting the editorial channels which are capable of promoting new paths and uncommon points of view on contemporary architecture. Such was the case, for example, for Team NEXT-GENE20, the video developed by Squint/Opera www.squintopera.com for presenting a grand architectural intervention in Taiwan on the occasion of the Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale. Its contacts with the most notable producers internationally, its experience with the BEYOND MEDIA festival www.beyondmedia.it (which, since 1997, is dedicated to architecture videos), its ability to trigger suitable distribution channels for the videos, as well as its commitment to preserving multimedia documents related to contemporary architecture grant iMage PUBLISHING a unique position in the world within the field of architectural video production.
